The BMW S58 twin-turbo powers the G80 M3, G82 M4, and G87 M2, and it loves to be tuned. But it has one factory weak point: the OEM plastic charge pipe. FTP Motorsport makes two aluminum replacements for it. Here is how the standard S58 Charge Pipe and the S58 2-in-1 Charge Pipe compare, and which one fits your build.
The S58 Charge Pipe Problem
The charge pipe carries high-pressure air from the twin turbos to the throttle body. The factory part is plastic, so under high boost and tuning it can crack or blow apart, risking engine damage.
Both FTP pipes replace it with all-aluminum construction, engineered and built in-house in Taiwan. The difference is the design, and that decides which one is right for you.

The S58 2-in-1 Charge Pipe is the airflow upgrade for tuned cars. Instead of copying the restrictive oval OEM shape, it uses a round pipe that cuts turbulence and frees up flow.
